    Transoft Solutions, developer of industry leading CAD based software for the engineering
    and architectural communities worldwide, announces that Daniel Shihundu, P.Eng.,
    MBA, MIHT, has been appointed to Vice-President of Product Management. The move
    up to Vice-President was made effective as of February 1, 2010.

    Mr. Shihundu has been with Transoft Solutions since 2007. Since joining the team,
    he has spearheaded a number of product development initiatives as Senior Engineer
    and Manager of Product Management, including the development of the TORUS Roundabouts
    software. Mr. Shihundu has also been recognized by AASHTO for his collaboration
    with the Technical Committee on Geometric Design in addition to publishing a paper
    on the research and development of TORUS. Additionally, Mr. Shihundu has conducted
    presentations and seminars including the University of Florida & The Center for
    Multimodal Solutions for Congestion Mitigation's roundabout workshop.

    With over 18 years experience in civil engineering consulting, Mr. Shihundu is a
    graduate of the University of Nairobi, Kenya and holds an MBA degree from the School
    of Management at the University of the Free State in South Africa. He is a registered
    professional engineer both in the province of British Columbia, Canada and South
    Africa in addition to being a member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering
    as well as the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT).
